Aesop · The Lion and the Mouse
A lion was sleeping. A small mouse ran over him and woke him. The lion caught the mouse. “Please let me go,” said the mouse. “One day I may help you.” The lion laughed but let the mouse go. Later, hunters caught the lion in a net. The mouse bit the rope and set the lion free. A small friend can be a great help.
